It has become a Friday morning routine for me, since I have started using Zinio the first thing I do when I wake up is check Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly. Not only checking for the latest news, but also looking to see what photos I may have in this weeks issues. I decide to check out Soap Opera Weekly first today, not sure why or how I normally choose. But I was quite happy to see my first pullout poster, featuring Sarah Glendening and Christina Bennett Lind who portray Marissa and Bianca on “All My Children”.
I took this shot a couple of weeks ago during the “All My Children” Fan Club luncheon. Both ladies were gracious enough all weekend long, posing for various photos during all the different events. You would never know this particular shot was taken on a Saturday evening after we all had been drained from the luncheon that ran most of the afternoon. Before Krystal’s BBQ started, we had wandered off, walked through a wedding at The Sportsmen’s Lodge and found a nice little comfy spot for the photo. As you can see, it turned out wonderful and captured the chemistry that Sarah and Christina share on our television screens each day.
For those of you who are wondering what Zinio is, its this great little program that allows you to read your favorite magazines on your computers, iPad’s, iPhone’s and all sorts of other gadgets. One of the my favorite things about it is you do not have to worry about your magazines getting delayed in the mail, without fail every week at the same time I find my soap magazines waiting for me. Also, if you subscribe using Zinio, you could save some money as subscriptions are usually less then what you would pay for a print edition. For more information on Zinio, check out www.zinio.com
