OK, so two of my favorite new features of iOS 5 I consider hidden treasures. Why? Because one was not advertised at all and the other was something iPhone users have been begging for, for a long time and was barely mentioned before launch.

The first one is that you can now use your phone as it Syncs with iTunes.  That is right, the annoying “Slide to Cancel” no longer shows up while syncing.  I can not count how many times in the past as my phone was syncing, I had to wait to answer a call or read a text message.  I know, its petty, but you felt the same way too. This may be a minor, unannounced change, but definitely a welcomed one.

As stated earlier, the other one was one of the most requested features since the release of the original iPhone. You can now customize all of your tones! Text messages, alerts, you name it and you can customize it. I do not mean with just a select choice of tones that come pre-loaded on your phone either. Apple even has a tone store in iTunes now to help support this new feature! In addition, you can create your own tones as well. If you are not sure how, then check out the App Store, there are plenty of available apps available to help make this easy for you!

I will be out and about all weekend using my brand new iPhone 4S! So I will be checking in with updates and thoughts on the iPhone 4S and iOS 5 as well as reporting a full review by Monday. Also look for reviews with samples of both photos and videos from the new camera!
